The 2009 Live Nativity at the Fairgrounds is a Springfield tradition sharing the story of Christ Jesus from His birth to His resurrection. A narrated story featuring a cast of actors, animals, sets, and music, admission is free and open to all. Performances are at 6:30 and 7:30, December 5-7.

Willard Middle School Black Box Theatre would like to invite you to their one-of-a-kind production of Willy Wonka Jr, the Musical, December 5-7! Over 120 cast and technicians have created a world of shocking splendor using 6 stages to engage you in the magic of the show. The entire family will enjoy this beloved tale with a new appreciation for the plight that young Charlie faces. Colors will change, tales will bend, and your golden ticket will lead you to the gates of the factory. The story transforms to backward shapes and childish lessons under the guidance of Willy Wonka and his dancing Oompa Loompas.The factory will open it’s golden gates on December 5th, 6th, and 7th at 7:00 PM with a matinee showing at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 7th.
